2001 Yamaha 40hp 2 stroke tilt/trim help

I recently purchased this motor. I ran approximately 2 tanks of gas with no issues. This morning I tried to trim the motor up(to take transom saver off) and it would not work. No noise no anything. I press the down side of the switch and it works like it supposed to. I uncoupled the blue connector (under the cowlan), touched the red wire to the green wire and the motor trimmed down. I touched the red wire to the blue wire and nothing happened. When I attempt to trim the motor up by switch or "hot-wire" nothing happens. Since I have owned the motor there has been no issues with the trim. It was parked for a week (and the trim worked) before this morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The trim relay has to make and break both the positive and negative to reverse the motor. Take both green and blue off relay and touch to battery +&- and then reverse the polarity. If it works then it is probably the relay
