I'm looking for the correct oil:gas ratio for this motor. The sticker next to the choke reads 100:1 but that seems too lean. Does anyone have information on the correct ratio for this motor?
100-1 nmay be correct but it lives longer and is happier at 50-1.
OMC tried the 100-1 trick and later rescinded it due to long term(over 30 day) storage issues that are NOT brand name specific.
