I am losing about 500 to 800 RPMS on top end. I am also geting a stall when I put in gear. I think I need to clean the fuel injectors. I have tried gas treatments to clean them but no help.

Need to have compression and leak down test run on it. Have fuel pressure tested, vacumn test fuel system and check for fault codes with computer diagnostic.

i just had similiar problem but at lower rpms.....check your oxygen sensor...how many hours you have on it? and the yamaha guys by me said that if it happens at top end your o2 sensor is going bad.... i had it at lower..pulled it out and cleaned it and the casing it sits in....carbon builds up and messes it up.,....do you hear a ticking noise???

I have the same problem. I have changed all the filters and plugs. Cleaned the injectors and changed the VST filter and cleaned the tank. Still have the same problem where the engine rpm's will not get up to 6,000 as it did previously. I get up to 5,600 and then it drops down to 5,000 or below. What does the ticking noise mean? I am at a loss.

the F motors dont use an O2 sensor, yet.
that eliminates that anyway.
your either still fighting debris or a fuel restriction.
a quick run with a fuel system vacum guage at the fuel pump inlet and a fuel pressure guage at the rail and test wheel YB1624 will tell you in about 10 minutes what to look at.
