Impeller rebuild- V-6 225

I'm rebuilding the water pump on my 1996 225 V-76 3.1 ltr. engines. Can I just buy the water pump rebuild kit, or do I need to buy the gearcase gasket kit, and the seals and gaskets for the top of the water tube also? When I did my 9 HP, all I bought was the water pump rebuild kit; but I don't want to get the engines apart and find I need gaskets not in the kit. Thanks

The impeller kit should give you everything you need

Craig is right - the water pump repair kit will have everything you need, except:
1.Yamaha shop manual to guide you and tell you torque specs and where to use thread sealer and grease.
2.Quality thread sealer - I use Permatex 14A with Teflon.
3.Marine grease
4.Torque wrench

Thanks for the help. My water pump is rebuilt, and all works fine. We've been out three times, ran hard to the fishing numbers, *****ed all day, and returned, and all is well.
