I went through the prop finder and found the following prop as outlined for my 2005 300 HPDI Yamaha R-9573-153-26 Solas Rubex. I also ordered the hub kit as listed. Now here is the issue. I installed the hub Kit,Prop as instructed and went to the lake to check operation. I idled out past the bouy's and then gave it the gas. I am not sure why but my engine would not take the throttle,I was only able to get aproximatly 2,200 RPM as if the engine somehow was readding information from the prop or RPM,s that would not allow the 300 to even think about getting on plane as if it was electronicly limited. I then went back to the dock removed the above mentioned prop and installed the original three bladed 27 pitch and off we went..No issues... Engine plane off and I was not limitied to what seemed to be a RPM limiter within my engine..Any help would be appreciated. Note: I used a RBX 104 hub kit for the prop..
