Will a lower unit gearcase for a F90TLR 2005-2006 work with a 2004 F90TLRC?

also, how are the seals property positioned in a waterpump base?
1 sealing up/1 sealing down?
2 sealing up?
2 sealing down?

Belive it or not some Mechanics are doing it wrong

Mercury certified tech tells me springs face fluid. This is not correct on Yamaha 90 percent have both springs facing up towards power head. Rodbolt would know for sure the percentage lol maybe 100percent but I doubt. So you want to see poker chip side when getting them in. You can double check with Yamaha parts should show squiggley jogs on parts facing up. And on prop area both same seals show facing out towards prop.
