Does anybody know what the Temperature range is on a 2003 four stroke 9.9 high thrust? I can't find the answer anywhere in my manuals or the Internet. I am replacing an overheat alarm and don't know the overheat temperature.

there isnt any cause it does not have overheat detect.
the t-stat should be fully open by 150.
as a general rule anything over about 175 is getting hot and anything over 220 is overheated.

Thanks for the help. It solves my problem. I am assembling my own overheat warning system. I am adhering a snap disc thermostat to the block and wiring a Piezo buzzer to it. I needed an overheat temperature estimate to select the proper snap disc thermostat. Thanks again.
