I want to replace the damper/motor mount bolts, but not sure how to remove them. The dampers appear to be sealed onto the control arm somehow. Any suggestions. The manual dosen't cover this proceedure.

if its been in saltwater it simply aint gonna happen.

It has, but why is that a factor? The power head came off no problem and I have the motor stripped down and ready to pull the upper casing. Just need to figure out the upper casing removal proceedure.

remove the 4 bolts and lift the lower pan off.

remove the nuts at the steering tiller,remove the nuts at the two lower mounts.
slide the casing off the bracket.
