Vapor lock

I have a 225 4 stroke.
When I turn it off after running it at idle speeds for 5 to 10 minutes and try to restart the engine after about 20 minutes it will not start.

A couple hours later it will start

Is the problem caused by vapor lock?
How can I fix it?

there is a tech bulliten and a kit avalible for that.

YAMAHA TELLS ME THAT THE COMPANY NO LONGER MAKES THE KIT
MOREOVER THE COMPANY WILL NOT TELL ME THE NAME OF THE DEALER WHO LAST BOUGHT THE KITS
SO I CALLED A NUMBER OF DEALERS AND NONE HAVE THE KIT
IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION AS TO THE NAME OF A DEALER WHO HAS THE KIT, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE INFORMATION.

if you will ease off the caps lock key then during the week I will see if I can get ya a part number.
the kit still exists.
in the mean time.
when it wont restart hot.
use the throttle only function.
advance the throttle.
see if it starts.
if it does its not a vapor lock but an over rich mix from percolated fuel vapors in the intake.
two VERY different issues.

i have the part (kit) number
it is 90891-40430-00
it is called a "canister modification" kit
the problem i have is that yahama tells me that the kit is no longer made
and i cannot find it anyplace.
