Hi again i have a yamaha 30 dhmo 6j8-bo all set remotely on a 4 m xs rib. The prop 9 7/8 x 13 . the boat will do 26mph flat out and seems to struggle to get on the plane. the revs flat out do not seem high

I think I need to fit a rev counter and alter the prop. is this easy? what parts do I need and how do I wire it?

We don't have that model here in the US and not sure but the older US 30HP Remote Models used 6Y5-83540-14-00 Tach and 6Y5-83553-N0-00 harness and set tach for 4 pole. Not sure if will work on yours.
