93 yamaha 30 hp c30r steering cable

Hi All
I'm new here on the forum and looking for some info .
I'm redoing a 16 ft playbuoy eagle pontoon boat with a 30 HP c30r Yamaha 2 stroke
And i want to move the console up 2-3 feet so going to need a new
steering cable and not sure what I'm looking for and want to make sure i
get the right one.
So was hopping some one could tell me what kind of cable i should be
looking for .

There are several different manufactures of steering systems, need to look at helm or cable to see if can make and model. May have to replace it with Teleflex steering kit(cable and helm).

Prop Size

Hi All
So i looking to get a new prop for my 93 yamaha c30r it is on a 16ft pontoon boat
right now it just dosnt seem to have enuff umff i don't have a speedo on it but i would say the boat will do 10-12 mph and i was told by a boat mariner
that it should do 18-22 with that motor and size boat .
So he recommended putting on a new prop,So hoping to get some feed back to see if this true ans if so what size .

Check engine rpm's at full throttle, make sure when trying props engine stays within 4500-5500 rpm range, probably wont get much more speed out of it on a pontoon boat.
