My liner is worn down...Do I also have to replace the Impeller?

    Is this a difficult procedure?

Liners are cheap compared to the impeller, replace it first and adjust your shims on the impeller to see where you're at. When the time comes, I recommend their 6 1/8 stainless steel impeller, I've used mine for almost 2 years and still have not had to dress the leading edges.

Thanks...I've adjusted the shims before with no problem and the liner looks simple...Take out a couple bolts and maybe a love tap or will it require a press?

A tap should do it unless you operate in saltwater, then you will require two taps.

          Stainless steel impeller

The liner was easy to find, but if I need to locate a stainless steel impeller do you have a sugestion of where to shop? I've looked at a couple sites with no luck...By the way, not much saltwater in Arkansas...Thanks again!

I purchased mine direct from Outboard Jets, I believe Wooldridge also makes stainless for different motors.
