1988 Yamaha 90ETLG Compression

I have a 1988 90HP Yammie outboard that I bought used and it looks like it's "been around the block" a couple of times. It runs good, but needs some repairs (carbs, etc.) Before I start spending $$ on parts, I ran a compression test and got 95, 95, and 100 lbs on jugs 1, 2, and 3. We had the boat out the day before, so the cylinders should be fairly "wet".

I think these numbers are a little low. What are your thoughts?

within 5% of eachother sounds fine to me.

Do a shock treatment with Seafoam - just might free up those rings a little and clean up the carbs also. Scroll down thru the posts for procedure.
