Yamaha F40LA command link capable?

Aloha All, I just picked up a new Livingston 14' equipped with a yamaha f40la motor and was wondering if the two gauge square will work with my motor part # 6Y8-WE83S-10-00? Can I also get an install manual, my email is romz1@yahoo.com

I bought a single engine, 2 gauge: (tach,speed/fuel mgt) Kit # 6Y8-WE83S-10-00. Will this kit work with my Yamaha F40LA motor? or will I need additional wiring harnesses and or sensors? also where on the motor does the speed sensor screw into? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Roman

Yes it will work, you also need one main bus wire and two pigtail bus wires,
one main bus wire to go between hub at transom and hub at console

Would you know where the speed sensor goes or screws into on the motor? Also which 3 pin plug does it plug into? There's three 3 pin plugs loose on my motor, which one does the speed sensor plug into? Thanks boat.net

cant remember wher the holder bracket bolts to but its the three pin connector with the white tape marked SS.

Can someone tell me where the speed sensor hooks up to on a 2010 F40LA motor? I found the wire that says SS on it but can find where it would hook up to. maybe a hose or adaptor?

the sensors and adapters will be in the speed/pressure installation kit.
instructions will be in the kit and the 2010 rigging guide.
