Walmarts universal Attwood fuel primer bulb kit

Ok for $20 thought I would pick up this item. Say's 3/8s not sure if that's exterior ID or inside. Ive read about primer bulb needing to point up so seals work correct. Any problem with this unit? Im running on 90hp carb motor.

I've got one of those Walmart bulbs in my boat for an emergency/spare, but I'd go with the real Yamaha replacement, for a few dollars more, worth the difference. My 1999 original Yamaha Primer Bulb still looks and works like new...hard to argue with performance!
