Recently I changed the low pressure fuel pumps on this motor and it has run great, but when I trottle down or idle it drops to 4-5k on the Tach and is going dead. It cranks right back. What can I check outside of adjusting the idle itself?

no idle adjustment on that engine.
it either runs correctly or its broke.
could be bad plugs, plug caps, clogged injector filter/filters.
clogged pressure regulator filter, engine will run to high on the fuel rail pressure and cause an over rich mixture.
could be a bunch, but leave the shutter screw alone. -
Thanks for the tips. I have changed the plugs recently. Is there a manual oline that can show me all the filters that you spoke of?Comment
