I kind of forgot which way is the double oil seals face on the oil seal housing on a 1991 70 hp TLRP motor. Is the spring side facing the water pump side or spring side facing toward the lower unit where the gear oil? Thanks for the help.
under water impeller those seals both face up towards the sky, you want to see poker chip end not springs. For lower gears I think both face towards prop but better double check that.
