Im have issues with guages not working and alot of unconnected wires under the dash does anyone have a wiring diagram for this motor

what guage package do you have?
yamaha digital,yamaha analog or aftermarket ?
did they ever work since you owned the boat? -

The Boat is a 2000 motor 2001 The tach is a Yamaha tach which I don't think the oil level/Temp was hooked up but the tach no longer works,fuel gauge pegs out, the volt meter pegs out my plans are to replace all the gauges but I wanted to make sure to hook things up right and neat,there are a lot of wires that are not hooked to anything and I know these wiring harness probably are made to fit a lot of different size motor ,but its apparent this was not a craft person that hooked up this boatComment

need pictures.
its going to be the only way we can positivly ID what you have and whats been cobbled and what is missing.
the same harness's fit almost all two strokes since the 80's.
only difference was in 95 the connector ends were changed from round to square but they make adapters for that.
the 2001 and up motors used a 2 wire trim sender.
the 01 and up tachs are selectable for 2 wire or 3 wire trim sender.
the fuel level sender is typically NOT yamaha in the US market.
but reall really need pics of the front and back of the guages.Comment
