Yamaha 1986 220HP speedo tube route

Some silly mechanic has pulled the speedo tube out of my leg at some stage, I dropped my leg off to refit the hose and clear out the pickup only to find its gone. I need to know where to route the hose from the pickup connection and up the leg. Cheers.

It was routed behind power trim units on older motors and through steering arm along side shift shaft on newer models.
