1996 85hp vibrations

So, my 85 hp at idle speed under load shakes and vibrates whole boat. Is this an issue that would be remedied by carb adjustment?

Is the idle speed just set too low? Easy to set it with the idle screw on carb linkeage to about 750 to 850, in neutral, warmed up. Other issues could be uneven compression between cylinders, fouled spark plugs, bad fuel pump diaphragm, carbs dirty and/or not synchronized. Good Luck!

No, just adjusting carbs will not fix it, unless someone snuck up while you were not looking and did some adjusting on the carbs, as they do not move all by themselves.
something has gone wrong and needs to be fixed.

Has motor been sitting? Varnished carbs. Old gas. Check for bent prop and prop shaft
