  • Yamaha F100, 2002 mod.TPS setting.

    Hi,
Had TPS removed for other work and it needs a recalibration.(idle no good, basic linkage adjustment done)
Clymer workshop manual refer to a special tool,YB-06443, were readings should be 0.68-0.72 Volt.
Any easier way? Can not find this special tool i Norway! Possible to use Ohmeter? And if, what should the reading be at zero and full throttle?

    Thanks for any help.

volt meter should be the proper piece of equipment not ohm meter

Thanks, That means power supply must be connected to engine, not disconnected as Clymer manual states?

Voltage is read with a volt meter not an ohm meter
I would recommend a Yamaha manual instead of an aftermarket one, but that is just my opinion

best I recall the TPS voltage also requires the engine to be running when setting on the F100.
dont know what other work, other than TPS replacement, would require altering the TPS to TPS bracket adjustment.
just because the two 6mm bolts holding the bracket on were removed wont affect the TPS setting.
methinks your dog aint chasin foxes.
