Help with my 1996 40 hp yamaha 2 stroke

I have a 1996 40hp yamaha 2 stroke. Runs beautifully
Just changed
Plugs
Lower unit oil
Fuel filter
Drained the carbs and flushed them out through drain screw.


What else should I do to complete my maintenance procedure.
Been about a year since last service. And sat for 5 months this year. Since that 5 months I've taken the boat out every weekend and it seems to be running beautifully. Have a full can of sentry and seafoam sitting here. How shall I use it.

Also is using 93 octane plus 50:1 mixter of 2m yamalube a good mix?

Neutral idle is ok but when I have it in forward gear and at idle speed I think it has a rough forward idle. It ****s a little side to side but nothing major

ditch the 93 octane, waste of money at best.
keep the 50/1 yamalube mix.
that engine was designed for us of 87 octane.
no comment on additives.

How long since check/replace water pump impellar? Remove prop, check for fishing line wrapped around shaft/under prop shaft oil seal, grease prop shaft splines. Grease all zerk fittings on motor swivel and tilt. Good Luck!

check fuel pump pressure/vacuum, anodes, thermostat, grease everything
have you looked at what Yamaha recommends as for maintenance?

I have not replaced impeller since last service a year ago. It sat for 5 months so really hasn't had alot of use on the impeller since last change out. I have taken the prop off and inspected and re greased all proper areas.

I have a can of seafoam and sentry. I want to use the seafoam to clean cylinders and well as carbs, how should I go about this.
