I run twin '04 HPDI 300's. One of them seems to be slow pumping from the main tank to the sub tank. If I'm running at low cruise speed it is able to keep up, but at high rpm's I end up getting a low-oil alarm. I use the toggle switch to fill the sub tank back up, and off I go.
The oil pump and filter were just replaced. My inclination right now is to replace everything else that is between the oil pump and the sub tank, including the sub tank filter and sensor. I run 40 miles off shore and prefer to come home on two engines.
As long as I'm going this far, is there anything else I should inspect or swap out to make 100% sure I get the problem fixed?
