1986 yamaha 175 wont start

btw rodbolt ,you said my motor is not a 175 it's a v6 spec ,what would that equate to in hp ,just curious

No spark

I still run twin 1986 115,s on my boat. I had an issue with no spark to one of the engines couple of years ago and it turned out to be a bad ground wire from the CDI unit. It was broke inside the insulation. It's worth checking and a simple fix if it happens to be the problem.
