water pump replacement

F115 4 stroke ltrd
Water pump was replaced last winter we it was winterized
I went to start and she fires straight up but no pee????
I shut it off and remove ears and hook up the the upper flush connect
Fire it up and i have pee.
Hook up ears and no pee.
Did this a couple times thinking it need to prime itself,but had the same result
Any ideas??
was trying to go out tomorrow.

Need to put it in water to tell if have a water pump problem or a problem with ear muffs not suppling enough water.

did just that and it works fine?
Maybe on the old pump the seal wasn't as good as it should have been???
