drop in RPM's

Help! As I cruise at about 5000 RPM's, they drop about 400, I lose power & speed. My mechanic says I need to have my injectors cleaned. Has anyone had this issue? I want to solve the problem before I smoke a cylinder.

Seeing as no one knows what motor you are talking about but you.
I would recommend following your mechanics advice as long as he has had training on your motors fuel systems.
Tanks, anti siphon valve,Filters, screens, lines, pumps, injectors, and connectors are all some things that can cause problems. Just need to troubleshoot properly to see what the problem is.
