1998 V225TLRW not charging battery

I have a 98 V225TLRW and it starts and runs fine on a fully charged battery (charged by the bank charger). I have a battery warning light flashing on the gauges. After a few hours of *****ing, the battery is dead. Luckily,I have an extra battery when this happens. Stator, Pulser Coil, Cables? Any suggestions?

Follow the testing steps that are in your service manual and make sure you use the test equipment recommended.

My guess is regulator or the stator

that should be a 200 hp 3.1L EFI motor.
most likly the stator windings or the regulator assy failed.
typically failure is caused by loose or corroded battery cable ends.

Or, fooling around with the battery switches when running.
