need parts 30hp--model no. not list at yamaha
Hi all,
I hope someone here may be able to help. I have a 30hp outboard with the following on the id plate
yamaha 30GM
61T L 303988
z
All I have found is that the z means that it is a 1994 model, but thats is it. For some STUPID reason yamaha don't recognize the model number.
So I have checked all the 30hp outboards that yamaha list on the net and they all share the same part number for the throttle lever (6G1-42138-01-00 LEVER, THROTTLE). But it looks different to the mine.
Unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere so I cannot just drop into the shop to see for myself. Does anyone have any info that may help.
