Mid and lower unit of t25 2004?
I Was told when i bought my T25 2004 4 strker (used)that it had a 50 hp mid and lower unit on it ?
is this correct?
if so is the prop shaft a 50 or a 25 rated shaft?is this spline count the same ?
only ,of coarse ,if this is a 50 hp unit ...can i put a 50 hp prop onit?
i now have a different prop than what came with it ,as i could only get 20 mph @ 6200 rpm ,and i now have a standard type prop from yammi, and i can reach 27 mph at about 5700-5800 rpm.
i am at this time looking to change to a tiller setup on my boat ,also hoping to attain more speed because of less weight and less problems caused by more mechanics to give you grief.
