Pistons,something amiss??

I have split the 85HP and have pulled the pistons,they are going where all done pistons go,the metal recyclers,but #3 had 25 stamped on the dome and #3 on the con rod,whereas #'s 1&2 had 50 on the dome and both had # 4 on the con rod.
Is this the norm or is this an indication that this motor has been messed with before? It's an '86 85 AET,European motor
Is it possible to redo the pitted bearing race and the con rod race on the crank shaft? Thanks in advance for any info

pits on either the rod or crank journals typically mean they are junk.
the oversize markings on the piston typically indicate its been rebuilt before.
