f75 new install, no power to tach

2010 I plugged in the key and tach sockets but no tach power. Am I missing something. Thanks Jim

Just got my tach hooked up

Had to splice into omc harness. My 2sroke has wire harness with yellow,red, green,black. Green is send wire AC current, Yellow key on 12volt, red constant 12volt, black ground. Your yamaha tach might be alot different than faria omc gauge. I changed my setting on pole thingy you multiply by 2 so if it's number 5 that's 10pole, 6 that's correct 12pole just found this out on Faria, only on OMC with warning gauges far as I know. Yours could be to simple like fuse somewhere.
