hey guys. need help installing a 63D-W0086-Z0-4D tiller kit on my 2000 model 40 hp. i think i have the "electric start model w/o instruments" and from what i can tell the main cable coming out of the tiller does not match the coupler on the motor. the cable out of the tiller has 5 small connectors and the pic shows my needing one large coupler for the main switch coupler. the kit does include a harness(15) that will hook up but it also has an extra length made on it that would be used to go somewhere forward in the boat for some forward controls??, and an extension harness(14) that connects to the main harness. do i cut this "third leg" off the main harness and use it? is there a better schematic somewhere than what comes with the kit? thanks for any help.
