Part number for the Racor 2-micron is S3220SUL, $19.80/each. The Racor metal bowl is part number RK30473-02, $40.53/each. They make a plastic bowl but you can't use it in an enclosed space. It's a fairly new filter and not on Racor's web site. I tried getting it through parts.net but they don't have it in their parts system and the girls taking the phone orders go tilt. I got mine at Green Marine in Houston.

Cool, Thanks! I will look into those and the Yammi one I saw at Cabela's for $69, except it was 10 micron.

Finally, got into the VST and I do not think the filter was the problem, could be wrong. It looked pretty clean. If I get it all back together I will test it out tomorrow. Waiting on the giant Oring to dry out a bit more. If I still have the prob I will change out the three LP pumps, once they come in, and hopefully that will fix it.

DO NOT use a 2 micron filter.
may I add, DO NOT use a 2 micron filter.
you can use vasaline in the VST oring groove to help retain the oring.

Rodbolt this is a new product Racor came out with to help with the detergent effects of ethanol in old fuel tanks. You are a very respected contributor to this forum and have helped many of us. If you can come up with reasons to negate positive experience with approx 30 users over 3-years, I'm all ears. If you are concerned about the level of service business to factory dealers, I can understand that also. (no disrespect intended)

it becomes TO restrictive TO fast for outboard use and gets hard on pulse pump diaphrams and if you lean out most two strokes due to low rail pressure pistons can pop.
take the avearge s225TXRX, that engine lift pump inlet fuel system vacum MUST remain below 6"Hg AND flow about 25 gallons per hour.
the average Z150TXRZ must remain below 4"Hg AND flow about 18 gallons per hour.
thats why yamaha reccomends a 10 micron with a minimun clean filter flow rating of 90 GPH.
