Looking for Advice

Am thinking of buying a 30 hp Yamaha model 30ersy wonder what anyone can share with me as to what they are pro's con's. . What to look for when checking it out .

What year is motor, how much has it been used, fresh or saltwater use, well-maintained? Best proof of the motor is an actual sea trial on the water,check cold starting, idle, mid-range, wide open throttle, take at least an hour to check it out. Otherwise no way of knowing for sure if or how it runs. Good Luck!

Have heard it idling and it looks to be fair condition comes with controls just not sure of the rep on these engines good bad believe it to be 93or4
