'94 70 hp

Hey everyone, i am having a problem with my 94 70 hp outboard. Starts up fine and can idle great but when i try to get up on plane the safety alarm goes off and wont let me get on plane. The only other time this has happened was when i had low oil level. I have plenty of oil so I'm not really sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

You need to check if the overheat switch or the oil level switch is bringing in the alarm.
