  • F200 Question on the Main Relay or Power Relay

I been having intermitten stalling in my f200. I did a test on the Main Relay and was getting 1.9v out of the Red/Yellow wire from the coil wiring harness with the power switch was on the on position.

Also the ECU is not on, cause I'm not getting any response from the Power pumps when I turn on the power switch, but the starter motor engages and turns over motor.

I could also notice that the Oil and Over heat lites on the tach is not on when you first turn on the power switch.

    1. Is it true that the Main Relay also will turn off the ECU??

    2. Shouldn't I be getting 12V+ or battery voltage from the Red/Yellow wire from the coil harness??

Thanks in advance for your opinion..

the ECU recives a "wake up" signal from the keyswitch.
it then starts activating the main relay and a few other things.
yes you should have 12V on ANY red yellow wire at key on .
everything on that engine has 12V supplied at key on, the ECU makes the ground path.
