outboard issues

Hi guy's,

My 2004 Yamaha 2 stroke 40 hp is giving me some greif with electrics not seeming to comunicate between forward controls and motor.

I have power to the engine but nothing is working!!!! no start, no electric choke, no tilt, is there a fuse in the forward control, or engine that i'm missing????

Should be a red wire in the harness with 12 v + leaving the motor going to the controls. there should be a fuse at the motor if there is no power
