Hello All,
I have a 2000 Yamaha 225 3.1 OX66. My Yami runs well above 5200 rpms but if i come off the gas and get down about 4800 it will bogg way down. I will not stop running and if i mash the accelerater back down it will rev back up. It never boggs down enough or long enough to come off plane.
I have changed the 3 diaphram pumps, changed filters, taken apart the VST and cleaned it out (not much of anything in there) replaced the filter at the bottom of the HP pump, Cleaned the O2 sensor and replaced the draw tube, checked the fuel pressure it was at 35psi. I took it to a yami service center and they did the blinky light thing and no codes were detected. I had them double check my job on the O2 sensor and they said it looked good.
Any one have anything else. I bought the boat used in 2008 and the previous owner let it sit too long. i replaced the HP fuel pump and it ran fine from Jan 08 through June 09 and ever since this has been happening.
I can't seem to fix the right thing.
