What rigging needed for F250?

Hi,

Just purchased a new to me 2006 Yam F250. Which components do I need exactly for rigging?

What I have:

- Yamaha 705 flush mount remote control
- Yamaha Tach gauge (will be delivered shortly, not sure exactly which one)
- Yamaha Fuel mgmt gauge (will be delivered shortly, not sure exactly which one)
- Yamaha single key switch panel
- Seastar hydraulic steering

What else do I need in terms of harness, wiring etc?

can you post a picture of the 705?
never saw that model.
depends on the tach part number if it will work or not.
on the FFM you will need the sender and the harness.
myself, I would have rigged it with square command link and let it ride.
once you get the parts post a picture of them and we can tell you more about it.

thats what used to be, and still is in my rigging book, the 6x3 flush mount.
will work with your F250.
you will also need a key switch assy,a 10 pin main harness and the trim/oil warning harness.
you will also need the power harness between the ign switch and gauges.
unless you go command link.
for part numbers boats.net is quicker at it than me.
I am a master tech for yamaha but me hates da riggin .
I can do it, its a pain to me.
I like fixing broke stuff.

If using the 6X3-48206-01-00 control box then use 6X3-8257B-00-00 Key switch.
Your choice of main harness:
6X3-8258A-00-00 16ft
6X3-8258A-10-00 20ft
6K1-8258A-40-00 26ft
61B-8258A-01-00 31ft

The difference would be the wire connector for emergency stop switch, either has bullet connectors or modular connector, the 6X3 control box has modular connector on white and black wires.
