F60CEHT to remote

I have a Yamaha F60CEHT 2008. I am of the understanding this outboard is originally remote and converted to tiller as an option. Surprise Surprise, I wish to convert back to remote. I have done hours of reading through forums and pretty sure I am on the right track. With the part numbers I have found. Please confirm I have it right and have not over looked any parts before ordering.

Steering: 65w 48511 00 00 steering hook
90185 10051 00 nut self locking
90116 10M28 00 Studs
I already have the steering arm.

Mar Cables-xx-00 depending on the length required

703 control box 703 48207-17-10 push- pull
10 pin wiring harness included with the control box.

Guage kit: 6yr-w0035-e2-00 (not sure about that part #)

If it is not to much trouble please email wiring diagram to suit.

Don't have any parts listings on that model but it should be same as US model and those parts should be all you need.

control box

G'day again,

I have been looking at Yamaha's other contol box options. I understand the 703 is the one for the F60. Is there any reason why I couldn't use the side flush mount 6X348206-01-00 with the use of the Main switch and duplex connector 6X3-8257B-00-00 or the 64D-82570-20-00.

The final question. With the tiller handle fitted to the F60, it has the idle up/down adjustment controls. Is it possible to keep that once converted to remote. Maybe fitting the switch assem. to the console, rewiring on tiller is disconnected.

Yes you can use the flush mount(use 6X3-8257B-00-00 switch) or the binnacle mount(use 704-82570-08-00 switch) control boxes with the switch panels and 10 pin main harness on that engine.
10 Pin Main harness options:
6X3-8258A-00-00 16ft
6X3-8258A-10-00 20ft
6K1-8258A-40-00 26ft
61B-8258A-01-00 31ft
Yamaha only offers the variable *****ing on the tiller handle and in the Command Link Gauges, you might be able to extend the switch on tiller handle to console but I have never tried it and not sure what would be needed to do.
