I have twin 2002 Yammy 115 4 strokes on my boat.
The ignition switches are wired to warning buzzers of which I am not sure of the total function. They do sound off when an engine shuts off, for instance during a cold start to let you know you need to hit the switch again. (enclosed cabin). I have to assume that the warning buzzer has a more sophisticted reason to exist as in overheating or low oil etc.
Now both buzzers refuse to turn off even when the engines are running. I played with the switches, turning the engines on and off a number of times assuming the problem might be as simple as the switches sticking. The buzzers eventually went off.
I checked oil, water pump function, all good. It's been only about thirty hours of running since the last oil change with powerhead oil topped off recently. Boat has been run in past thirty days with seemingly good performance. The engines crank right away and run smoothly but now the warning buzzer for the starboard engine refuses to stop buzzing. I even shot a little WD-40 in the slot in case it was a sticking problem.
    Any thoughts, anybody?
I am mechanically inclined at about a three on a scale of zero to ten. I bought the manuel and do my own fluid/filter changes, wter pump changes, lubrication, battery service etc but am without any sophisticated equipment for testing.

is it a owners manual or a service manual?
Either way read up on all you can to see if it will give some info about the alarm system on that 4 stroke motor
