Changin 2hp Head Gasket

Hello All

Im currently changing my head gasket on a 2hp Model 2B- 6A1

I need to know waht surface prep I need between the gasket ( Goo or no goo, or use valve grinding paste etc ) and also need to know what torque to tighten the mounting bolts to the head?

You can have a machine shop resurface head if needs it. Don't use sealant on head gasket. Torque head bolts to 3.6ft lbs on first torque and 7.2 ft lbs second torque.
