My F100 4-stroke low and high ends are good but through the mid range the engine is slugish and wants to die. I have replaced the fuel water separator and varified no water in the fuel. My service guy is puzzeled. I talked to one guy who said I should be running a dry fuel additive because the water can be suspended in the fuel and I should only run Cheveron or Mobile fuel 91 octane. Is there a mid-range jet in the carb that could be the problem.
