Valve shim

I think i have a broken haft of a valve shim floating around in the crank case is this hard to remove it out of the crank case i don't aways hear it IT IS A 2004 225HP I DID A VALVE JOB TO IT AND SEEN THAT 1 HAFT OF THE VALVE SHIM WAS MISTING I THINK IT WHEN IN THE CRANKCASE

I do not think you will get many replies without giving any motor info

most likly the broken part is still at the bottom of the head.
if it made it to the crankcase oil sump your ok, if not it will require powerhead removal to access it.
