  • F300 no water pressure or fuel level?

Hi all, just got a new f300 and have a couple of questions. I was told the v8 350&300 motors come with a water pressure sending unit but not the new 4.2 liter motors. It this is true what do I need to get the water pressure on the command link plus to work?
Next my only way to know how much gas I have is to use the fuel flow against how many gallons I put in the tank! Can this be true? I have to reset the capacity everytime I put gas in? Seems my fuel sending unit is not capable of working with the clp gauge! Any help please!

water presure is an option on both V8 and V6, its as simple as adding the transducer and plugging the wire in.
    most already have them.
the fuel level will read with the yamaha sender, the european sender and the american 35-255ohm senders.
may have to be set for the correct sender.
it can also display twin tanks at the same time.
if set up correctly the fuel guage can display total burned, gallons remaining, fuel level, and fuel economy.
however command link isnt really intuitive nor user friendly and takes some playing to get decent with it.

not all, but I will next week.
we are repowering an older well craft with a 4.2 300.
        not command link plus though.
post what all ya got, pics of the gauge package would help.
lot of mis information over command link and commandlink+.
neither do I like but I go back to school again jan 22 or so.
not only can I ask but I can be shown.
