After market or reconditioned 250HP's?

Are there are suggestions on where to get a "Counter Rotation" 2004 HPDI 25" 250HP, lower unit that is after market, or reconditioned?

I was looking around earlier at lower units and power heads that are re-manufactured and they range in price from 1,750 to over 3,000 from boatmotors.com. I would stick with OEM parts and be sure you read and understand the warranty before you buy one.
