Might order a new spacer, 61A-45538-00-00 that goes on top of impeller it sometimes breaks when removing.

its not uncommon to have to cut off or damage the collar and the retainer.
sometimes they get stuck.
also carefully inspect the housing for any signs of melting.
any signs of melting means the housing is junk.
