hi i am new to forum. i have owned my engine since new but owing to illness i have not been able to use my boat for almost a year, needless to say my engine would not start.i have since trailored it home where i could do some work on it. i did some diagnostics and found that the carbs were fouled up and the top one was siezed.i striped all the carbs and freed off the bad one. i have reasembled all carbs now and refitted them back on the engine.i would like to re syncronise carbs.would it be ok to use a motor cycle sync tool,it is a morgan 4 channel unit and yes the engine did start ok.the only problem i have is that it stumbles a little if i open throttle sharply. ps where is the best place to take the measurments from. thanks in advance any help would be appreciated.

yam 50 two stroke 2000 model
hi thanks for your quick reply. getting hold of the genuin manual is like **** dust here.and the yam dealerships dont like to give away too much without me having to dig very deep into my pocket.i do like to look after my own vehicles and boat if posible as i am a retired old codger and funds are not like they used to be. maybe there is some one out there that would let me have a copy of the pages that cover the link and sync operation, i am quite a resonable mecanic who likes to do things methodicaly and thanks again 99yam40. ps the reason i inquired about the other sync method was because i was informed that this morgan unit could be used for several 2 stroke multicarb units. the only way that i could think of is by substituting the oil pipes on the oil injection system and using a tempory tank with the correct fuel mix, weather this would work or not i would notknow without trying it but obviously i would take advice from anyone who knows these engines better its a little bit cold out there at the moment
