Wire Harness.

Hi.
I have a 90 HP AETO with a 10 pin harness.
I want to use my old remote con*****er with 7 pin harness.
The old 55 I had was not connected to the harness since it was a pull start and no trim and tilt.
Can I go for same colour wires and condemn the connector?
Where I am in Ghana there are no agents or marine shops.

The difference between 7 pin and 10 pin harness is the 3 power trim wires, other than that the wire colors will match. The small light green, light blue wire and red wire in 10 pin harness is the trim wires would need to connect to a trim switch.
