I have just bought Yamaha 115. Trying to confirm the model No. cant seem to find where the model I.D. is located on the engine. Can someone please help?

Should be on the port side mounting bracket. If the tag is missing you will have a problem identifying it.
Most motors that are stolen have the tags removed by the thieves so that the law will have a hard time checking/identifying it. personally I would not buy one that it was missing on.
